Data DestructionData Destruction is one of the most important security measures every company faces. Unfortunately, the importance of this process is typically overlooked and is, more times than not, done improperly. Most IT departments believe that a simple (F-Disk) format will destroy their data, which is why 90% of the equipment received by I3, LLC is data laden. With a simple forensic software that costs as little as $12.00, your data can be recreated within minutes. We offer data destruction that meets or exceeds Department of Defense (DoD) standards. We make sure no one sees your data. We GUARANTEE IT and welcome audits at our facility to build the confidence our clients expect.
How does the Data Destruction work?
Our proprietary destruction process writes random character sets across the entire hard drive. This is done several times to ensure that random data covers the entire drive by overlapping data with each wipe. This ensures that recovering data off the drive is impossible. Our process is approved by the Department of Defense and is an approved compliance tool for HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, The Patriot Act, Identity Theft and Assumption Deterrence Act, and others. The wiping process is monitored by our system and creates a log that identifies what drive was wiped and to what standard. These processes are put in place to reduce the liability of our clients. When I3 is handling your data destruction, you can rest assured that your data will not resurface.
